My name is Darran Gaskell and I’m an independant freelance software developer with over 30 years professional experience in the software industry.

This is my personal blog space where I document my experiences and interests. I’m a massive procrastinator and so this blog is way (way, WAY) overdue. I’ve been collecting info (mainly in my head, but sometimes written down too) for years but I’ve ways put off publishing it online until sometime later (when I’ve finished this latest project or some other personal crisis!).

So sometimes the posts on here may seem a tad old, however overtime I do intend to fully document all the things I have either scribbled done on various log books or floating around in my head.
